A New Leg

...the tagline for the Death Race, an extreme physical and psychological multiple-day race, which Mark Harrison competed in last year. Contestants were told to bring a pocket knife, a 10-pound bag of onions, a post hole digger, $50 in pennies, and a book on the ancient Greek language. 20 people out of the 87 ended up finishing the race. Mark, who dropped out last year because of scheduling problems, says he will, without a doubt, finish this year.

Loved him. A really reserved guy, but once he lets you in, you're in. He's worked as a mechanic at Bickford Motors for 49 years, and has never had another job in his life---and he's happy.
